About Us

The standards and principles that guide our excellent veterinary care have been in place for a long time.

We can trace the history of our practice back to before World World II when Mr Robert Turner opened a clinic on Risbygate Street in Bury St Edmunds. Our branch surgeries have served their communities in Thetford and Mildenhall since the 1960s.

In that time, our longstanding teams have developed close relationships with generations of patients and clients. We have team members approaching their 40th anniversaries with Eastgate.

We have always built our service on care and respect for pets and their owners, with a personal, friendly approach. We ensure that our practices are well-equipped and modern facilities where you are always made welcome.

We are passionate about helping not only our clients but our community as a whole. We are very proud of the fundraising work we have done for local and national charities including the RSPCA, Cats Protection, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Cancer Research and Macmillan. We also look to outreach and communicate within communities when the times allow.
