Catherine Wynne
Head Veterinary Nurse
Catherine completed her training here after her A Levels, and has been with the team since 2002. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing but has a particular interest in surgical nursing. She has horses at home and enjoys competing in her spare time. She lives locally with her husband and her border terrier, Wilf.
Sarah O’Hare
Head Veterinary Nurse
Sarah qualified in and has worked in numerous practices, including seven years in a large veterinary referral hospital. In 2004 she won the Blue Cross veterinary nurse of the year. She has a keen interest in animal behaviour and has a BVNA certificate in small animal behaviour. She lives with her two dogs, cat, tortoise and very patient husband.
Tina Plumley
Head Veterinary Nurse
Tina qualified as a vet nurse in 1995 and worked for the RSPCA before joining Eastgate in 2004. She is particularly interested in microscopy. Outside work she runs with Thetford Athletic Club, with a few marathons under her belt, and is an active performer in Thetford Players. She has two children and a cavapoo called Daisy-Doodles.
Leanne Harrison
Senior Veterinary Nurse
Leanne joined Eastgate in 2010 where she completed her RVN training, having previously worked in Norfolk. She has a particular interest in nurse clinics and surgical nursing.She lives with her partner and her border collie, Murphy, with whom she attends regular agility training.
Rebecca Davies
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Rebecca qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2018, and joined us in July 2022. She has a particular interest in all things feline, and has gained extra qualifications in exotic nursing. The highlight of her career so far is monitoring an anaesthetic on a snow leopard!
Rochelle Scott
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Rochelle joined the nursing team in November 2022 after completing her nurse training at a large referral hospital. Rochelle is enjoying all aspects of general practice including inpatient care and nurse clinics.
Charlotte Hurrell
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Charlotte started her training at Eastgate in 2012 and qualified as a foundation degree nurse at the College of West Anglia in October 2015. She enjoys spending her free time with her little Scottie dog Jasper and has recently started learning to play the violin.
Donna Gooderham
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Donna joined Eastgate in 2004 while studying for her veterinary nursing degree, qualifying in 2008. She enjoys the variety of working in general practice and getting to know regular clients and their pets. At home she has a feisty cat called Pumpkin, and enjoys running, crafting and spending time on the beach, either abroad or near their caravan on the Norfolk coast.
Sadie Worger
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Sadie has worked at Eastgate since 2002 and has been head nurse, a pet health counsellor and is now our famous rabbit lady, enjoying giving rabbit clinics and keeping many bunnies at home. She is now part time since having her children and enjoys nothing more than spending quality time with her family.
Janie Harrington
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Janie has been in veterinary nursing for 25 years. She enjoys all aspects of the job and is particularly interested in surgery and anaesthesia, and is currently studying for a Certificate in Anaesthesia. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and animals, and playing hockey.

Abi Lennard

Abi qualified from the College of Animal Welfare in 2021 and worked in a small animal practice near Cambridge before moving to Suffolk and joining Eastgate in September 2023. She has a keen interest in laboratory work. Outside of work she enjoys reading, writing and visiting her cat, Jazz who still lives with her parents and their cat Genie.

Ella joined Eastgate in November 2022. She has completed a Level 2 technical course in Animal Care and a Level 2 Nursing Assistant Course.
Outside of work she enjoys listening to music, gaming and taking care of her animals - five cats, one dog, six rabbits, a hamster and a fish.
